Serving Others
Westside supports many local missions through the gifts of our time, abilities, and finances. As a community we are committed to serving others on a regular basis and we continue to look for new opportunities to serve.
We are currently serving in these ways:
* |
We are committed to throwing a Trunk-or-Treat Party every October 31st for the children in our neighborhood and those neighborhoods nearby. |
|
* |
We are committed to the support of West Aid, a non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance for families in need. Click westaid.org for more information. |
|
* |
We are committed to preparing Help Bags to give to those in need, so we can be prepared to help everyone who asks us for help, without fear or second guessing. |
|
* |
We are in the early stages of a very ambitious project to create and maintain a community garden on the Westside campus. This garden will not only allow church and neighborhood members to reap their own harvest, but will allow us to grow enough food to donate to the various food pantries in our area. |

We are in partnership with various organizations in Tarrant County that care for orphan and foster care children. When they come into the system,we are often called to respond with care packs, gifts, or childcare for parenting classes. |
Drop us a line if you want to start serving alongside us.
We are working behind the scenes to provide more ways to serve in the near future! If you have any ideas for ways to serve, or if you are passionate about joining with us to bless our communities, drop us a line and let us know.
Stay tuned for more ways to get involved as we try to change the world...
